Location

Copper Canyon Academy is a therapeutic boarding school for girls located in the Verde Valley of central Arizona (95 miles north of Phoenix and 55 miles south of Flagstaff). Surrounded by giant cottonwood trees, our campus is situated on 29 acres of land running along the edge of Beaver Creek. Our Southern Plantation style campus features:

Copper Canyon Academy girls’ boarding school takes advantage of the mild climate and beautiful scenery of the area. The school is nestled in a valley close to pine-covered peaks, ancient ruins, rivers, hiking trails, and wide open spaces. Students have the opportunity to enjoy nature and the great outdoors.

Our central location and idyllic year-round weather allow students to enjoy camping trips to the Grand Canyon, hikes throughout the trails of Sedona, science trips to Lowell's Planetarium Observatory in Flagstaff, and art, music, and theater trips in the local area.
